2D Animator
ApplyWe’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented 2D Animator who can breathe life into static visuals. In this role, you’ll take static images—designs, illustrations, campaign assets—and convert them into eye-catching animated content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.
You should have a strong understanding of storytelling, motion design, and how to optimize animations for short-form, high-engagement content formats like posts, stories, and reels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Animate static designs and illustrations to create engaging social media content, including posts, stories, reels, banners, and motion graphics.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to bring campaign visuals to life through animation.
- Transform key messages into clear, visually appealing animations that align with brand tone and platform guidelines.
- Ensure animations are optimized for different formats, sizes, and social media specifications (e.g. vertical, square, horizontal).
- Add motion effects, transitions, kinetic text, and basic sound (if required) to elevate storytelling and viewer retention.
- Work within fast-paced timelines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Contribute creative ideas to elevate content, even when working with limited visual assets.
- Stay up-to-date with animation trends and platform-specific creative best practices.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or social media content creation.
- Strong portfolio showcasing animated social content and storytelling ability.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Ability to animate using pre-existing assets—no original character animation or 3D work required.
- Attention to detail, especially in timing, transitions, and visual rhythm.
- Strong sense of design, typography, and composition in motion.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a creative team.
