As an Account Director you will be responsible for managing client relationships, driving account growth, and ensuring the successful execution of everyday client servicing operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of marketing principles, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. The Account Director will oversee a team of account managers and collaborate closely with creative, media, and production teams to develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that meet client objectives and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, building strong and enduring relationships based on trust, communication, and understanding of client needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategic account plans aligned with their business objectives and our company’s offerings, ensuring alignment and mutual success.
  • Oversee the operational aspects of client accounts, ensuring seamless execution of deliverables, adherence to timelines, and quality control standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., creative, design, web) to ensure alignment and collaboration in delivering value to clients and driving business growth.
  • Serve as a client advocate within the organization, representing their interests, conveying feedback, and championing solutions to address their evolving needs.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and KPIs to assess account health, identify areas for improvement, and proactively address any issues or challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts, upselling additional services or solutions, and actively pursuing new business opportunities through cross-selling and referrals.
  • Lead strategic , high-level , campaign level and tactical level plans as per campaign objectives.
  • Lead reporting monthly, quarterly and yearly for social plans delivered and campaigns executed.
  • Lead contract renewal negotiations, ensuring favorable terms while maximizing revenue opportunities and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Develop accurate revenue forecasts for assigned accounts, track progress against targets, and implement strategies to achieve revenue growth objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging client needs, leveraging market insights to inform account strategies and drive business innovation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years experience with preferably a digital agency background
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Familiarity with social media & AI tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of marketing and client management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to guide teams, take initiative, and manage projects effectively.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.
