Video Editor
ApplyKey Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce engaging video content for digital and social media platforms including
- META, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
- Collaborate with creative teams, motion designers, and account managers to understand
- campaign objectives and deliver video assets that align with client and brand guidelines.
- Develop short-form and long-form video content, including ads, stories, reels, explainers, and social-first content.
- Optimize videos for platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, and specifications.
- Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, sound design, and audio effects to enhance storytelling.
- Assist in conceptualizing creative ideas and contribute to brainstorming sessions with the creative team.
- Manage video libraries, organize raw footage, and maintain post-production archives.
- Work within tight deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality output.
- Stay updated on current social media trends, video formats, and storytelling techniques to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience as a video editor in a digital-first advertising agency.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or relevant tools
- Knowledge of motion graphics, typography, color grading, and audio editing.
- Solid understanding of digital platforms, social media trends, and short-form storytelling.
- Creative mindset with strong storytelling skills tailored for digital audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a portfolio demonstrating social/digital video work.
