IO Digital is looking for a React.js Developer. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.
• Ensure the quality of code through guidelines and unit testing.
• Participate in scrum meetings to ensure the delivery as per plan.
• Maintain and support apps in different stages.
• R&D to explore the new technologies and trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum experience of 1-3 years in the similar capacity.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Experience or knowledge of Rest & GraphQL API development, source control (Git, SVN), unit testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Knowledge and understanding of microservices, isomorphic React and, Next.js is a plus.
